Probationer
When one first begins with us, they dwell within the realm of the probationer. It's not as harsh as it may seem. Actually, this is when each person gets what they'll need for all future training, while at the same time showing that they are truely involved in their development. No secrets are greanted beyond basic tips.
The page titled "Getting Started" explains most of what need be known about this level. Beyond that, a person will be tested for physical ability (which shal be developed), focus, and other basics. Many tests are simply to see what we're dealing with, and how we should best proceed in each individual's training. We don't force anyone to go too quick or even too slow. Some have come to us with a history in Martial Arts, so we work from there. Others are totally new, but may possess some natural tallents. Some may be totally fresh. Each person is treated as an individual.
The First Order
There are 3 orders. First, one that builds the basic foundations needed for what shall later come. The second builds great power from the foundations that have been formed. The third is an adept order for those who've gone beyond what would ever be expected and have become what soem would call "more than human".
In the first order, one must develope physical health, endurance, speed, stamina, concentration, and learn to cultivate energy. The energy work is especially important, because in the later conditioning work, if the energy (the Chi) hasn't been properly developed and cultivated, then a person could suffer great injury. However, following proper preparations, when the time comes for the harder training, it will instead not cause injury, but will cause great development. It's like if you try lifting a lot of weight after no exercise, you'll injure your back. But with your body is healthy and your energy good, then you can do it with little problem.
A few secrets are given in the training areas. Deeper mystical secrets await in the 2nd level. Many secrets can only be descovered within. They are never written, for they are not describable.
Throughout the 1st, one learns to strip away much of what is not needed through the Zen-like practices. Concentration and awareness are of great consideration, as well as the Chi cultivation.
This is all I shall explain for now. There is a message board for those with questions, so ask away.
