Brian. Nick, Kevin, AJ, and Howie were leaving later that day. I was always good friends with all of them, so we spent the last three days catching up with each other. Ami also became good friends with the guys.
Early that morning, Brian and I were walking on the beach. We were talking about what I should do when I talk to Ben.
"I want to come to New York with you. I want to be there if you need anyhting," Brian told me suddenly.
"Brian. I won't let you come with me. You have another concert to do tomorrow night and you can't miss it. If you come to New York with me, you'll-"
Brian cut me off. "I'm going with you. End of story."
"Thank you Brian. I just don't want you to miss your concert because of me," I said. I kissed him, then we sat down on the beach and started talking about little things.

Later that day, Ami, Brian, and I arrived at the airport at 3:00 in the afternoon. We were walking towards the gate when we heard a bunch of teenage girls scream "OH MY GOD! IT'S BRIAN!"
A bunch of girls caught up with us and started asking for autographs and pictures. They saw me and Brian together, and they asked if we were going out. Since I didn't say anything to Ben yet, we decided not to say we were. Even after brian said no, a lot of girls were starring me down. I thought it was really funny.
On the plane, Brian and I sat together, and Ami sat behind us. "Brian, how should I tell Ben that I'm not going to marry him?"
"Cassie, I've never broken an engagement with anyone, so I can't help you there." After he said that, he realized it didn't sound good, so he said, "That's not what I meant to say."
"I know brian, I'm just nervous."
We talked about a lot of things on the way back to New York. When we landed, we said bye, then Ami went to her house, and Brian and I went to my house.
"Well, it's now or never. Let's go," I said to Brian.
We got in my car, and I drove to Ben's house. When we got there, I knocked and he opened the door. He went to kiss me, but I pulled back before he could.
"What?" he asked, confused.
"I have to tell you something," I said nervously.
"Cassie, are you OK?" Then Ben saw Brian and said, "Who the hell is he?"
"Ben, this is Brian-"
"As in Brian Littrell?"
"Yes, and that's why I'm here."
"What?"
"OK, this isn't how I was planning to do this but, I might as well tell you now."
"Cassie, just tell me. it can't be that bad."
"OK, the engagements off. I-"
"WHAT!?!?"
"I can't marry you," I said calmly.
"This has something to do with HIM," Ben said, pointing to Brian, "doesn't it?"
"Yes, it does, but I'm not going to sit here and argue with you.We're not getting married." With that, I took the ring off my finger and gave it back to Ben. Then i turned around and walked away, with Brian right behind me.
We drove back to my house in silence. When we got there, Brian turned to me and kissed me. "I'm glad that's over with."
"So am I."

Early the next morning, Ami, Brian, and I caught a plane to California, where there was going to be a Backstreet Boys concert that night. Ami and Kevin (LOL Dani) became really good friends when we were in Viginia.
When we got to the airport in California, Nick was there to take us to our hotel.
Later that night, Ami and I went to the concert. We sat in the second row, and, all night, Ami pointed out that Brian was starring at me the whole time.
When we got backstage, two girls were talking to Brian. I went over to him and hugged him. He eaned down and kissed me.
"Is that your girlfriend?" one of the girls brian was talking to asked.
The other girl said, "DUH! He just kissed her. Who do you think she is AJ's girlfriend?"
AJ, Brian, Kevin, Howie, Ami, and I started laughing. Then I said, "Actually, I'm Nick's girlfriend!" We all started laughing again.
"What???" Nick asked as he walked into the room. All he heard was 'Nick's girlfriend' and he had no idea what we were talking about.
"It was a joke Nick! Forget about it!" I said before I started laughing again.
A little while later, the seven of us went back to the hotel. We all hung out in AJ and Howie's suite until we got tired.
