This part of the site is dedicated to a talented young actor much like Seth Green in my oppinion this part goes to the hot young Freddie Prinze Jr. He is one of my fav actors.
A Star Is Born...
Freddie Prinze, Jr. was born on March 8, 1976 in Los Angeles, California (he was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico). The 6'1" Pisces is the son of the famed comic Freddie Prinze (best known for the 1970s sitcom Chico and the Man), who committed suicide when Freddie was just a small child. As a kid growing up in New Mexico, Freddie Jr. found himself constantly surrounded by tons of annoying reporters hoping to get the inside scoop on his late father. "I didn't know who these people were. I was, like, 12," Freddie recalls. "I would look at the reporters and say,'Hey, I'd like to help you out, but I don't talk to strangers." Freddie still manages to chuckle about that. After Freddie graduated from La Cueva High School, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
The Past, Present, & Future...
Freddie first got a part on the family sitcom Family Matters. Although he only had four lines, the part he got soon led to more roles. Freddie got his big break when he was cast opposite Claire Danes and Michelle Pfeiffer in To Gillian On Her 37th Birthday. His character, Joey Bost, was the boyfriend of Claire Danes. He sported fake tattoos for the role. Freddie played the part of Anthony in "The House of Yes" in which he was part of a severly dysfunctional family.
Next up for Freddie was the teen slasher flick I Know What You Did Last Summer. The movie was based on the popular book written by Lois Duncan, and the screenplay was written by the talented Kevin Williamson, creator of the hit teen drama Dawson's Creek, the popular Scream movies, as well as the recent sci-fi/teen horror flick The Faculty. Freddie played character Ray Bronson, who was one of four high school teens to conceal a deadly secret of their hit and run accident but later find themselves seriously stalked by a crazy dude with a hook in a rain slicker. I Know What You Did Last Summer opened in theaters in October '97 and became an instant success, grabbing the #1 spot at the box office and maintaining the top position for three straight weeks after its premiere. A sequel had already been planned which became title I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Freddie joined remaining cast member Jennifer Love Hewitt (Party of Five, Can't Hardly Wait) to star in the follow up with singing sensation Brandy along with Mekhi Phifer (Soul Food) and newcomer Matthew Settle. The sequel had its cheap thrills and scares just like the first but still entertained most of the teen generation.
Freddie was establishing himself as a very dynamic actor and a Hollywood hunk. His next movie She's All That, was an instant hit. Freddie played Zach Siler, a popular high school senior who was "Mr. Everything." Zach took a friend's bet to turn a social outcast into the school's prom queen. The female lead was played by Rachel Leigh Cook, whom Freddie had first met when they were both on The House of Yes. The plot of the movie was predictable, but it was charming and funny. The film debuted at #1 and also became Miramax Film's all time opening weekend money maker with a cool $16 million.
Freddie starred in Wing Commander, the silver screen version of the popular Wing Commander PC games. He plays the character Christopher Blair. "Wing Commander combined two of my dreams in one. My dream was to make a Western, which I haven't done yet, a war movie and a sci-fi movie. Wing Commander handled those two of my dreams," says Freddie. The movie premiered on March 12, 1999 and also stars fellow friend and She's All That co-star Matthew Lillard (also known for Hackers and Scream).
Freddie has just finished filming Down to You and Head Over Heels. Currently, Freddie is filming the film Boys and Girls.

Quotes
"I try to be honest with myself and other people."
"He (Freddie's father) was very deep and emotional. He wasn't a real macho guy, and neither am I."
"My mom raised me in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the foot of the mountains, far away from any fast lifestyle. I was an only child whose life was about comic books, cartoons, and snowboarding."
"I have a tight circle of friends and family. I kick it with my girl. And I jump on the trampoline I bought that my mom would never let me have. That's it."
"It's always hard because I don't know how to act. I know how to become a certain person because I've been fortunate enough to deal with a lot of experiences in a short amount of time because of the events and the road that my life has taken."
"Success if being happy with my career, enjoying what I do, and doing it well. I consider myself happy with what I do. I really enjoy it!"
"I get letters from kids who want to act. They want my advice. All I can say is if you have a dream or goal, don't stop until you reach it. If you really want to accomplish something as an actor, don't let anyone stand in your way. Just go for it."
"I would love to be a superhero. My dream is to play Spider-Man in a movie someday. That's just one of many characters I hope to play. There are so many roles out there that I haven't even gotten to touch yet."
"I don't really like to think ahead because you never know what the future will bring. I'd like to continue acting and have a good time at it."

comments: Son of the late Freddie Prinze, the young Freddie got the acting bug while still in high school in his native New Mexico. He acted with Albuquerque's Children's Theater and the Duo Drama Company. After graduating from high school in 1994, Fredie moved to LA to pursue his career. He got his big break with a foul line part in an episode of "Family Matters". He went on to play Claire Danes boyfriend in To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday, also starring Michelle Pfeifer. But the world noticed with his performance in last year's I Know What You Did Last Summer. Look for a reprisal of the role in the sequal, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. And he's currently in She's All That. He just finished filming Down To You with Julia Stiles, Shawn Hatosey and Selma Blair. Coming up, catch him in Head Over Heels. There's a lot more Freddie to come, we bet.
