Don't think there are no crocodiles because the water is still.

There is nobody who is not dangerous for someone.

If you happen to meet a crocodile, don't stick your head in its mouth. Every now and then, and who knows the reason, people ignore this advice, which is sad because they die, but very stupid because they were warned. They had a choice. The moral of the story is this - you can't afford to be stupid. There are crocodiles. . .

We do not quite forgive a giver. The hand that feeds us is in some danger of being bitten.

The people who denied who they were or where they had been were in the greatest danger. They were blind sleepwalkers on tightropes, fingers scoring thin are.

There's no earthly way of knowing. . . Which direction we are going. . . There's no knowing where we're rowing. . . Or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of hell a-glowing? Yes, the danger must be growing 'cause the rowers keep on rowing. And they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing!

The world is full of enemies. There is no safe place.
