How do you find your
way back in the dark?
I have walked too far down the road without light, and now I must stumble blindly through the
darkness I have made.
I woke, he fled, and day brought back my night.
You live through the darkness [with] what you learned in the light.
The night is too dark to walk with your eyes closed.
There is no limit to how dark the darkness shall truely get.
Where did the darkness run?
Nothing you say can touch me anymore. My own blind heart has brought me from darkness to final
darkness.
You must enter the darkness to see the light.
The sun rose, the sun set. But darkness was always there.
In the darkest hours the soul is replenished and given strength to continue and endure.
Let me tell you something. We're all guilty of something. Cruelty or greed or going sixty
-five in a fifty-five mile per hour zone. But you know what? You want to think of yourself as
the fair-haired choir boy, you go ahead. . . I'm saying you've got a darkness inside of you.
You've got to know the darker, uglier sides of yourself. You've got to recognize them so they're
not constantly sneaking up on you. You've got to love them because they're a part of you because,
along with your virtues, they make you who you are. Virtue isn't virtue unless it slams up against
vice so, consequently, your virtue is not real virtue until it's been tested. . . and tempted.
Wait mister. Which way is home? They turned out the light and the dark is moving in the
corner.
Suddenly, I'm not half the girl I used to be. There's a shadow hanging over me. . .
I have a key, so I open the door and walk in. It is dark and I walk in. It is darker and
I walk in.
You will fall into another darkness, one you will find yourself making and remaking until
it is perfect.
It is a still night, a very still night and the stillness is everywhere.
Every man, of every age, entertains primal fears that must be faced or denied. We know
the night monster must be wrestled to free us from those fears. Once grappled with, the monster
flows through our fingers to vanish into the shadows. And we awake refreshed.
