To remain a recipient -
and be grateful. Grateful for being allowed to listen, to observe, to understand.
There is a profound casual relation between the height of a man's ambition and the depth of
his possible fall.
Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make
our souls blossom.
In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by
an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle
the inner spirit.
We need to remind ourselves that gratitude in indeed a virtue.
A man with spirit is unbearable if he does not also have at least two other things:
gratitude and cleanliness.
