The
tragedy of life is not so much what men suffer, but rather what they miss.
Like every tragedy, the problem was realized too late. And hence, love in itself was one, life
was one, the world was one, and everyone dwelling on it's continents were one, too. Everything was a tragedy.
Instead of weeping when a tragedy occurs in a songbird's life, it sings away its grief.
Just think of the tragedy of teaching children not to doubt.
One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off
living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon - instead of enjoying
the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.
I guess when your heart gets broken you sort of start to see the cracks in everything.
I'm convinced that tragedy wants to harden us, and our mission is to never let it.
