Infinite Bliss
My journey to eternity has begun
I’m spreading my arms to take my flight
I’m never looking back
I’m not even looking forward
I’m looking at where I am
I don’t want to ever become my past once again
I’ve been there
I know where that road leads
and I’m tired of hitting dead-ends.
I’m making a new path
a path to eternity.
Never turning back
and walking by faith not sight.
I’m going there
makin’ my escape from this life I’ve lived
Hangin’ onto every moment by a thread
Living as if it’s my last breath
I’m on my way to the place where no tears are shed
no broken hallelujahs, no let-downs.
It’s a place with golden streams of life giving water
It’s where dreams are manifested,
where socialism isn’t just an idea
and utopia isn’t far-fetched.
It’s a place with no impossiblities
I don’t know when I’ll get there
but I know I’m on the way.
Running as fast as I can after elusive perfection.
Boulders connot even make me stumble.
Faith is making me stronger with each breath I take.
I’m just dying to be alive
and finally starting to feel life for the very first time.
