COBRA COMMANDER (A Tribute)

Even after his temporary death, the Commander is seen in the same beret and glasses, sporting a long moustache and ponytail. And some people debate whether this was his real face or not! HA!



Artist Andrew Wildman may have had his limitations when it came to faces (not every person can unhinge their jaw when they yell), but his Cobra Commander was flawless. Thankfully he got many, many close-ups during Andy's 20+ issue run.



In his later years, the Commander's vocabulary increased dramatically. I defy anyone reading this to speak these lines aloud, and get them right the first time!
