Interests
Volleyball-I play volleyball as often as possible. During the summer I play in a lot of doubles and 4s tournaments. I occasionally win a few hundred bucks. I won the Capital District Grass Doubles King of the Hill tournament last year and came in second this year. Check out their site. If anyone wants to play, get a hold of me.
Psychology-I just finished my 5th year as a PhD student in the Psychology department at The University Of South Florida in Tampa. My area of concentration is Cognitive and Neuroscience (CNS). I recently taught Psychological Science II and Research Methods, but now I am teaching Cognitive Psychology. You should also check out my Vita, if you are interested.
Partying- I LOVE to party. I love being around people who are having a good time. Of course by partying, I don't mean drinking or anything like that. I actually don't drink or do drugs at all, nor have I ever.I consider myself to be Straightedge. So, check out my Party Page for the next party (you need the password to get to that page- I don't want stalkers finding me, so ask me for it).
Straightedge- This is a way of life that I found works for me. Check out this link to find out a little more about it. They give good insight into the life. However, I have been around the Staightedge scene for a while (over 10 years) and realized it means different things to different people. The website that this link goes to has the gist, although generally the 3 don'ts are drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Sometimes people consider sex one of those, but most straightedgers do not. It is a matter of what is right for you. I think adult, consentual sex is ok. I guess I might just be girl crazy.
Computers- I have been teaching myself to program My Website for a few years. I know some html, some java script, some Perl. I also can do some Macromedia Authorware programming, and some Microsoft Visual Basic programming. I recently learned some basic Flash also. Here is an example of my rudimentary Flash skills: My Mom!
