"Gunfighter" Scene

By Lighthouse Church

Buck sat quietly laughing a piece of wood with his knife as Jimmy crept towards a buffalo. Wearing a cheerful smile, Jimmy inched closer, trying to see how close he could get before the snake would strike.

"It takes one kick outta you and it's over my friend." Buck said.

Jimmy stepped back and flashed a big quick at the Kiowa, "Maybe I'll take a hug outta him." He said bravely.

Quickly Jimmy turned back to the snake and in a flash pulled out his gun and shot it. Eyeing the dead snake, Jimmy turned back towards Buck with a triumphant grin.

"Not bad huh." He said.

Jimmy then began to punch back towards his friend, when suddenly Buck threw his cup at him. Frightened, Jimmy jumped back and looked down at where he had been rubbed just moments before. Buck's knife had skewered a rattler Jimmy hadn't seen.

Jimmy looked in awe from the snake to Buck and back again. Buck sat back against the barn, satisfied that he had just taught his friend a lesson.

"Remember Hickok, there's always one more dance."
