Moscow On The Hudson!!!

Cloudy day at Gully's... cloudier night ahead.

What is it with us and people telling us to turn down? First it's the Walden Police, now it's an unnamed employee at Gully's last Saturday. What's next...??? An act of God??? Are we really too loud??? Should we play Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach tunes unplugged??? Where were we a few years back when they had Manuel Noriega help up in his Presidential Palace and the Marines were routinely blasting heavy metal music as a tactic to "flush" him out?... Maybe that's our next gig? To work for the US military as a tactical acoustic weapon used against terrorist during strategic hostage takedowns. I guess we could raise our fee?:)

Regardless if it was our choice of music, or the volume we played it, none of you seemed to mind. The crowd was pumped, and where we stood everyone was having a good time. We had a show of support from across the river (Jimmy & Elaina, Zane, Tiffany, Jon & Joanna, Lynn and her friends), friends Aisle-9 and Punky B were both in the house and Big Bad Bill helped out on background vocals. Thanks to everyone who came out to hear us play. Your support was endearing and your chants of "LET THEM PLAY!!!!" brought even a few tears to our eyes.. oh maybe that was just smoke. For the record Gully's later apologized for cutting the show short and we apologizied for being no louder than 10 other times we've performed there. So we're all cool again.

Shout Outs to: John Niss, Mindy, Erin, Dana, Jennie, Hillary, Tammi (no ID no entry) & Tammi A., Rhonda, Brother Bob, The Big EB, Zane, Tiffany from Syracuse, Jon & Joanna, Scuba Steve, Scuba Mom, & The soon to be Scuba wife Johnnieanne, Andrew from A-9... in fact all of the A-9 crew (don't remember all of your names)... thanx your chants almost got us banned from Newburgh!!!, Michele "I'm Movin to NC next week...seriously!!!"Biaso & Gretchen, Jay Jansen & Ed Shuback, Mike & Leslie, Marissa & Eddie, "Sinnchick" Elaina & Jimmy from Po-town, Lynn"Cyberchick" & friends from Po-town... Taylor from ???, Juan from the Record Den, Jilly (who I always forget!) and lastly a BIG shout out to Big Bad Bill who supplied a second pair of lungs for most of the night!!! We'll make sure to show up at all of the "Bootleg" shows and sing your songs!!! And of course Dan, Anthony, Tom, Paul and the rest of the bartenders at Gully's for sticking up for us in the end.
This Saturday we're back at The Downtown. A month ago we played there and it looked like a pit at the Warped Tour. This week we have more new songs and we promise to bring out all the big guns... that means Pennywise, Papa Roach, Linkin Park & Limp Bizkit. We have some new Green Day and a brand new cover from a band 99% of you have never heard before... but we bet 100% of you will agree the song is kickin(or we hope)! The show starts at 10pm, cover is $3 for 21+, $5 for under 21.
