New Year's Bash at Sweeney's

And what a celebration it was. WG and PUNKYB this past New Year's Eve rocked Sweeney's to the ground!!! Over 100+ people stuffed inside to join the party.
PunkyB started the night off perfect... playing songs that everyone knows and loves. Covers of Lit, Fuel, Toadies, The Ramones, Eve6, Presidents of the United States. They even threw in one of their kickin' originals, "Penny". With more songs like that these guys are definately headed for the big time. We came on shortly before midnight, broke into "Ruby Soho" and waited for the countdown. After counting down the New Year (and lighting Joe's 2001 sign) we jumped back into our set playing a full two hours of music. Green Day, Limp Bizkit, Blink182, 3 Doors Down (2x's)... and our usual setlist of 80's craziness.

The Sweeney's crew; Damian "HorseBOX!" and his sis straight from Ireland Anne and beau Tommy; Gavin, Gary Jr. and Gary Senior!!! We missed Dana but hope she's having a blast in Australia. And of course Mike, Al and Bobbi of PunkyB. You guys rocked!!! We hope everyone had a great time and we wish everyone the best New Year to come.
