Two hours of music, forty three songs, and barely five minutes to seek some restroom relief and grab a beer. The great thing about playing two sets is that your home at a reasonable hour. Now if every night went that smooth I wouldn't need my mid-morning nap on Sunday to balance my sleep apathy. The best part of the evening, of course, was the the great crowd of familar faces (and new ones) that came out to see us. We had a great turnout for a night where the weather was pretty iffy. With rain in the forecast, and a few lite showers prior to show time, we thought at 6pm the night was pretty much doomed. But good weather prevailed and we got a chance to play our last outdoor gig of the year. We want to thank everyone who popped their heads out on the back deck to keep the party going.
We want to give our thanks again to Janet May from WRRV (aka Giambi) for setting up the event, Simon from WRRV and his crew for being a great host, with T-shirt givaways and other freebie's. And finally, Dean, Nadine, and the entire staff at Front St (especially the Tiki Bar) for inviting us again.
SHouToUts go to.......Mikey & Howey, Eric, Atilia, John E. from Chester,... Annie, Karen, & Jen,.... Danno, Niss, Erin, Katrina, and Jessica,... Chris & Gloria, Fel & Stacia,... Kelly & Noel,... Mom & Dad Laverty, Bobby, Jennie Lynn (Happy B-day to you both!), Mindy, Dana, Ashley, Erin, Joe, The BigEB, Ed, and the entire CRS staff,... Bootleg'er Tom,...Rob, Ali-kat and Dana from Daddy Macs,... Tom from Skeleton Crew,... Renee & the bachlorette party,... Air guitar Mike,... Steve, Vinny & Phil, Simon and the staff from WRRV,... and of course, the staff from Front St.
The bad news is that this was the last outdoor gig at Front St. for the year. The good news is that we still have more Front St. gigs to come. We're back at Front St. indoors, the day before Thanksgiving, Nov 27th, the busiest bar night of the year.
So enjoy the pics... and sign the damn guestbook on the way out. PEACE!
