DROWNING POOL FRONTMAN DAVE WILLIAMS FOUND DEAD.

Manassas, Virginia --- Drowning Pool singer Dave Williams was found dead on the band's tour bus this afternoon. The quartet from Dallas, Texas has been performing as one of the main stage attractions on Ozzfest. The cause of death has yet to be determined.

David Williams was only 30 years old. I'm not a huge Drowning Pool fan but I've heard he was a great frontman and ruled "OZZFest". As a band we covered "Bodies" a just few times and it always went over well. Whether it's causes were natural or unnatural it's always sad when anyone in music loses their life at such a young age. We can unforunately add David's name to the same list as other notable artists like Bradley Nowell, Shannon Hoon, Kurt Cobain, Jeff Buckley... who's star was dimmed before it fully rose.
