Gary at Sweeney's ... Jumpin' for Joy!
As always we want to thank EVERYONE who showed up last week to make our Sweeney's gig such a blast!!!! We played some great new stuff and we're glad that some people actually knew the Living End tune "Prisoner of Society". Special Thanks goes out to Okey for belting out "My Own Worst Enemy" and singing backups on numerous occasions. Great vox from a great guy!!!! Special, Special Thanks goes out to Damian... for screwing up the backups on "My Own Worst Enemy" and not giving a sh*t! (Horsebox!!!!) And lastly Special, Special Special thanx goes out to sweet Michelle, who asked us to play "Wrong Way" 154 times that night. We always talked about becoming a "Sublime" tribute band, maybe we could just play that one song! Shout Outs go out to... Wendy, Lisa, Shelly and the friend she left behind (Awww), Danno, Kristen, Candy-grrrl, Mr. Niss and Kar Kar, Dana (from Otisville who once went Down Under), Tom, John, EB, Okey! KimK, Donna "All The Way From North Cackalakie"Woods, Erin, Tammy, Shannon "Where's the Fraggles?", Big T. at the door, Colleen (Leopard pants Wowza!!!)... Becky & the girls who gave the refferal for "Sugar & Spice". Arnold, Willis, Kimberly, Jo, Blair, Natalie and Tootie Ms. Garrett(OK, Now we're making up names... does anyone read this stuff?) all numerous faces of people who's names I didn't recognize.... and most of all Gary Sweeney Sr. for letting us wreck his joint and Gary Jr. for being OC's coolest Irish bartender!!!! And the rest of the staff. We love playing there.
