Leaf Collage Craft
Materials Needed:
Large Piece of Paper
Paint
Glue
Leaves
Instructions:
This craft takes more imagination than instruction!
Go for a walk and collect a wide variety of leaves
as many different colors and shapes as you can find.
Use the leaves to make "drawings". For example,
glue one round or oval shaped leaf onto the
paper. Using the leaf as the body, paint on a
head, arms, legs, etc... Or how about using many
different leaves to glue on an abstract design.
You are only limited by your imagination!
Miniature Pumpkin Candle Holders
For a simple Thanksgiving centerpiece, we have
often used the miniature pumpkins. We make them
into candle holders, then place other small
gourds, squash, etc. around them. It is very
harvest-festive! Just cut a small hole in the
top of the mini-pumpkin and scoop out with a
spoon. Make sure the hole is only about the
size of a quarter, so the candle won't tilt!
