On Feburary 18, 2001 Dale Earnhardt was doing great in the race. When on the last lap of the Daytona 500, he was involved in a terrible crash. It was announced later that Dale Earnhardt had passed away from that accident. The man know to all of us as "The Intimidator" left us in a blink of an eye to be in the presence of the Lord.
