I have watched the effects of a single pebble being gently or forcefully dropped into water....there is ALWAYS a ripple effect! I am reminded that this effect can be either positive or negative depending on the contents of that which is causing the ripple! A very large, heavy bolder can cause a disasterous ripple, a storm unlike any seen before! So lets see that our pebbles are pleasant and pleasing to others, that the ripples we cause deliver peace and serenity to others! We will need Creator's help to do this! As any of us sows, thus do all of us reap
Drop a pebble in the water, just a splash and it is gone,
but there are half-a-hundred ripples
circling on and on and on.

Spreading, spreading from the center,
flowing onward to the sea,
and there is no way of telling
where the end is going to be.

Drop a word of cheer and kindness,
just a splash and it is gone.
But there are half-a-hundred ripples

Bearing hope and joy and comfort
on each splashing, dashing wave -
'til you wouldn't believe the volume
of the one kind word you gave.

Drop a word of cheer and kindness,
in a minute you forget.
But there is gladness still a-swelling,
and there's joy a-circling yet.

For you've rolled a wave of comfort>br> whose sweet music can be heard,
over miles and miles of water,
by just dropping one kind word.
