My goodness, I am well aware that
I haven't been around in the last
couple of day, nearly a week!  And
although no explanation asked for,
one might be given!

This has become a difficult time of year
for me and my family, I might
add.  It was just 1 year ago tomorrow,
April 28th that my mother,
crossed over.  In addition it had been
just 90 short day previously that
my father met his ancestors.
To have to miss both my parents
in such a short time span has been
quite difficult for me, to say the least.

My grown children (25 and 24) were
extremely close to my parents, and other
[part removed] family members, have looked to me
for both support and comfort.
This has added weight to my daily
challenges and emotional health!

So as I prepare to "get thru the day"
tomorrow, I ask myself many
questions!  How am I to spend the day,
and my life in general, that will
best honor my parents?  To what level is my sadness normal?
How can I help others who may be
going thru similar circumstances?
Profound questions, a bit taxing for this
"tired" psyche, right now.
But the questions linger and
beg for an answer!!

My parents were university professors,
the kind that thrive on TEACHING,
TEACHING  and more TEACHING!!
This is the way they led not
only their professional lives, but
their personal lives as well!!
  They were always..."passing it on"
I believe this is the main reason that I
concentrate on this theme!!
We can't keep something unless we
"give it away!"
So tomorrow and in the days to
come...I will continue to honor my
parents by passing on what they so freely
shared with me!

Along the same vein, YOU, here,
have taught me so much!
Am I to sit on what
I have learned?
Do I hold it close to my chest
so as to not lose it?
NEVER, NEVER!!!
  I have © something that I
believe fits here:

"All things are to be shared, only
then can the beauty of them
be fully appreciated!"

The voices of my (your) ancestors, friends and family members may
not be physically heard on Mother Earth
any more, but they will be heard
thru US, if we chose
to put voice to them!!!

What can you pass on today?
What things that you have learned..
SCREAM to be repeated??

Another phrase appropriate here might be:

"Do this, in remembrance of me"

  Perhaps Jesus' words but they
shout to me in my mothers voice too!
   And I answer,  YES, YES,
I will do what I am called to do!!!!

With honor and respect for each one,
thanks for listening!
