For I knows its probably true
I can't stand the thought again of life

here on earth without you.

Please don't say you love me or tell me that you care
I don't need torn down walls

That I have built for it's all that's keeping me from you.

I can't stand the pain of loving again
Or the heartbreak of what love can do.

For even though I think it's so
I can't possibly stand the thought of ever hurting you.

for the years haven't always been to kind
You're the light during my day

a light that always shines

Please don't say you love me

Just hold me close and dear
When I look deep into your eyes

they tell me all I need to hear.
