This Poem This poem I'm writing is a very special poem.
Not just because it's from me...
but because it says something
I want you to know today
and I want you to remember forever.
Within the words of this poem
I want to say that
you are incredibly special to me.
You are so important to my days
and so essential
to the smile within me.
That certain space where our lives
overlap is the place that brings me
the most understanding,
the most peace,
the nicest memories, and a joy
that comes to my heart so constantly.
When you read this,
I want you to think of me
smiling softly at you,
and thanking you...
for all that you are...
to me.

My soul yearns for those who
still believe in life's truths
of honesty
of sincerity
of compassion
and of true friendship.
But most of all,
I long to know those few people
who really know what love is
and how to be a loving person.
I long for a place where people can
get together and talk to one another
about the things that matter
like being friends and caring about
the dreams that we all believe in.
I long for a time when
friendship and love are important
and the best parts of our lives.

The First Time The first time I saw you,
I knew I had been touched by love.
When I was hurting
from something that happened,
you came along
with love and comfort
to ease the pain away.

the first time we spent alone together
and I knew I wanted to stay
with you forever...
because I had never felt
like this before.

Love begins with meeting
someone the path of life
Someone you get to know
and gradually get to know even better.
You discover what a joy it is
to spend your moments with this person.
It's nice the way the feelings remain.
The happiness last
and the memories you make
start to turn into some
of your favorite treasures.
Love is two paths converging on
the way to the same beautiful view.

if you want it to.
Love isn't tough and tentative,
it's wonderful gentle and tender.
Love is mysterious,
but it asks that you keep no secrets.
Love is blind,
but it asks that you see
how happy it can make you.

the wrong things can hurt it so easily.
But the right things can make it

to know someone like you

is a delight just to see

Just as the tide never stops flowing,

And the winds continue to lift our sails,
Let us kiss goodbye to the storms that
have invaded our lives.
Let us welcome the buds of energy and colour,
Like the cleansing April showers that
replenish the ruins of a harsh winter.
Let us hope for a better tomorrow

A woman can be the most precious
and the most appreciated person
to come into your life,
She can make you smile
when you are sad,
She can gladden your heart
with her caring ways.
She listens to what you say,
and she hears even the words
you don't speak.
She is there to comfort you,
to nurture you, and makes
you feel like the most
important person in the world.
She always seems to understand,
and will never complain.
She will help, but never hinder.
When things go wrong, she is
there to lend a hand and support.

Thinking Of You I want you to know how happy I am
to have the kind of relationship I have with you
I love it because it's true and real and trusting.
Because it does my heart and soul good
to know that I'm going to be here for you...
and you for me...
when there are needs to be tended to,
when there are feelings that need to be felt,
and when there are smiles
that simply need to be shared
in the company of someone who really cares
...such as you.
Sometimes you feel like a gift
that was given to my days
to make sure that they would always have
some happiness in them.
More than once, I have felt that
what I lack in life,
I make up for by having you...
something I wouldn't trade for anything,
anytime, anywhere.
Darling, I can write many more
good things about you,
but the most important thing I like to say is...
