It's All Right

Dry your eyes and cry no more
Your dreams await on nearing shores
A hand extends from someone near
To cast away your doubts and fears

It's time to start a life anew
With changes for the both of you
Cling not to the things you've had
Reminders of a time so sad

So rise about the mire and silt
And free yourself of fear and guilt
Question not the things unknown
Just please accept the love you're shown

Trust in things you can not see
And maybe you'll believe in me
So now before you here I stand
Just make a wish and take my hand

Dream With Me

To dream with you this evening
As often times I do
To take a walk beside you
Through places that we knew

To orchestrate the feelings
Composed of winds and strings
To reach across the distance
And still the music rings

I've dance with you a thousand times
Yet each time is anew
I've marveled at the person
Who lives inside of you

Come out and play with me this day
And smile amidst the sun
It's time to leave the past behind
A new day has begun

The Chains That Bind

Cast away the chains that bind
Free the essence of your mind
Find the strength within your heart
To hold the love while we're apart

Ask not why it must be so
There's so much time, so much to know
Believe with your heart and not your mind
There's so much out there you will find

Trust the thoughts you don't believe
The truth that's there will not deceive
Things aren't what you thought they'd be
We're out of place, but wait and see

The time is soon to dream again
And reminisce about what's been
For in your mind you'll find a land
Where we're together, hand in hand

Knowing

Of all the things you can't run from
Are all the things as yet to come
There are those of us who see them now
Though we do not know the why or how

To fear the future makes us weak
And deters us from the truth we seek
I get a glimpse every now and then
But I know not where and I know not when

I wish you peace in what you know
Cast off the pain that you still show
I hope the knowledge helps you, in at least some
little way
Because it's something that I live with each and every
day

A Path

One more thought before you go
And journey to the land below
The leaders come in many colors
And only few do trust each other

Approach them on a common ground
And take the time and walk around
See the world as through their eyes
And find their strength and where it lies

Chart a path that they can follow
Complete with terms that they can swallow
Walk with them and take their hand
And lead them through this foreign land

Their scope of view expands this day
With vision they can lead the way
You only need express your views
To influence the path they choose

Butterfly

Take a step outside your shell
To drink the secrets of the well
No longer will you fit inside
There's no more need to run and hide

It's easy now to be yourself
And set your fears upon a shelf
To close your eyes for just a thought
And reconsider all you're taught

Wishes made when you were young
Captured in the songs you sung
Freed your heart to laugh and play
Reminders of a former day

So now you look through open eyes
To ask the hows, the whens, the whys
To search the world to find your part
And free the dreams within your heart

Winds of Change

The time will come for all things
Reflecting winds of change
Reality learns from dreaming
To expand our knowledge range

Wishes join in unison
Across this ball of blue
Calling forth the power
Of things we all once knew

So set yourself upon a swing
I'll push you up so high
Dream about the things you want
And soar up to the sky

The only things that hold you
Are patterns of the past
It's time to break the cycle
And free yourself at last

Almost

Almost
You almost opened
Almost opened
Your eyes
Opened to me
Almost
You almost opened your eyes to me
Glass melts to water
Limpid, quenching
Almost went within
Come in
If you find me locked,
Unlock me
You are free to unlock me
Nearly free
Near, close
Almost

Kitchen of music

There is some music which
Creeps in the ears and seizes by the root
Food of love
A kitchen of music
Making overtures
Savouring
Scalding
Cool and sweet
Here I am outside your kitchen with pangs
I tell you, I'm hungry
These notes are only cold on the page,
Folded beautifully and a gleam of expectation
Will you leave me only with a recipe?

Cloud

Meet me on a cloud
Leave your car
I'll transport you
Leave your mobile phone
I'll be in touch
Don't bring your shoes
Come barefoot
Leave everyone behind
I want only you
Not even wine and roses
Your precious drops of sweat will fall on me
And you will sip from my petals

Voicemail

It's here
The space where you should be
Bend your ear
Let my kisses whisper in
Do not fear
My arms make a strong O
As all through the centuries
Lovers have been cradled.
Listen, soft!
Ten thousand-volt desire
Sears my heart
Don't give me e-mail, voice mail
Or any other means of separation
Be here and touch me
My need for you is nothing virtual
But real

Little things........

Little stones make big mountains,
Little steps can cover miles,
Little acts of loving-kindness
Give the world it's biggest smiles...

Little words can soothe big troubles
Little hugs can dry big tears,
Little candles light the darkness,
Little memories last for years...

Little dreams can lead to greatness,
Little victories to success~
It's the little things in life
That brings the greatest happiness...

When I think about all the little things,
warm thoughts of you always come to mind
and all the joy that friendship brings,
always and forever sharing it online...

Thanks.for the little
things...................

Learning to listen to your heart.

Feeling a deep need for quiet,
a desire to forget my computer,
the phone,
the fax and the ticking clock --
I decided to take some time for me.
You can do that . . . it's really okay.
I'm sure you've heard this special angel whisper
as she flutters past your ear.
It's a gentle call, but not to listen
is to chance missing something quite wonderful.
It may be a gift of only ten quick minutes--
or hours on end.
It matters not. But heed the call, my friend.

Someone once told me,
if you do not like spending time alone,
then perhaps you don't like the company. Ooooppss!
Learning to spend time alone and enjoying it is an art.
Treat yourself as well as you would
a welcome afternoon visitor and you will find a peace
within that is simply glorious.

That day, I heeded the call. With a good book,
I curled up in my white, wicker rocking chair,
on the shady patio.
My 'Just for Me' crystal goblet was filled with sparkling,
crackling ice and blissful sun tea.
The tang of fresh lemons from my own lemon tree
and the sweetness of honey, made it absolutely perfect.

This special crystal glass is a treasured possession.
I took much time picking out just the right one.
Since I was not buying a set, but only one glass, I could splurge.
Not worrying about cost.

I remember that day and recall the curious sales
lady who followed me from crystal glass to elegant goblet,
holding first one and then another.
Did I like the feel,
the way the light danced off its design?
Would I feel elegant and beautiful sipping from it?
Did it transport me to that fantasy place I longed to be?
After much contemplation, I made my decision.
It was tall and beautiful
and made me feel like so peaceful and pampered.
I saw the surprise on her face when I bought only one.
"Please, will you wrap it for me?" I asked.
The gift-wrapping department boxed
and wrapped my purchase as though
it was being sent to a new bride.

As I was leaving the store,
the sales lady came rushing up to me.
"Excuse me. I have to ask you.
Who is getting this lovely gift? It must be someone very special."
I smiled and told her it certainly was someone special.
We talked for a while.
I could see she began to understand.
When I left, I knew she would soon be picking out
her own special glass.
It would bring her hours of pleasure and delight.

Life is full of small delights. Grab them all.
We don't have to become lost in the chaos around us,
if we choose not to be.
There is a gentleness in loving oneself.
Find moments just for you.
Fill them with the most precious things and thoughts.
Then fill your glass with something scrumptious and
sink into a lavish tub of warm water and rose scented bubbles.

Or simply sit by your favorite window and dream . . .
or in your swing watching as the end of the day draws near.
This time is a gift.
Draw it close and revel in it.
