Wire cutters and small needle nose pliers.
Stack on each safety pin one 6mm faceted bead, one 18mm starflake,
and one 6mm faceted bead.
Row 1- Take 20 pins and a 17 piece of wire- run wire
through head of the safety pin, add one 8mm faceted bead, add
another safety pin and continue until you have strung 20 pins
and 20 8mm beads. Twixt wire tightly together.
Row 2- Take 17 piece of wire- start at one pin and
push wire through the bottom hole of the pin. Add one 6mm faceted
bead, add a new pin pushing the wire through the bottom hole of
the pin, add another 6mm faceted bead, go through the bottom hole
of the next pin from the last row. Continue until you have added
40 6mm faceted beads and 20 new pins. Twist wire tightly together.
Row 3- Take another 17 piece of wire and go through
head of pin from previous row, add 6mm faceted bead, add safety
pin by going through the bottom hole of the new safety pin, add
another 6mm faceted bead, then go through the head of the next
pin from the last row. Continue until you have added 40 new 6mm
beads and 20 safety pins.
Row 4- Take a 17 piece of wire, string through the
head of a pin from the last row, add an 8mm faceted bead, push
wire through the next pin from last row, add another 8mm faceted
bead, continue around until you have taken up all the pins and
added an 8mm faceted bead between each. Twist wire tightly to
close the row.
Trim wire with wire cutters to about 1/4. Tuck the excess
in out of the way.
Drop in the votive cup. It will dangle so the bottom doesnt
touch the base of the holder.
To really make the candle shine and glow place the candleholder
on a mirror. Mirrors double the glow of a candle.
I used gold wire and straight pins and Champagne colored beads.
