On Abandoned Walkbridge in Cunningham Park

Another
view of the 64th Avenue walkbridge crossing the Clearview Expressway
in Cunningham Park. This shot clearly shows the incredible advance
of Mother Nature, in taking back what belongs to her. It's a sobering
example of how fleeting our incredible civilization can be and
how quickly it could disappear, as if it never existed. Few things
mark our modern cities personalities, as much as their ribbons
of superhighways and their accompanying edifices. This bridge
was put up in 1961. By the time it reaches the ripe old age of
50, it may look like a bunch of tree limbs, stretching across
the highway.
