Calling all cars heading for the Van Wyck! It's all aboard the Nassau Express...way. The left lanes of course continue their merry truckless way down the eastbound Belt Pkwy. The two trucks off to the right are on the Nassau/South Conduit combo, which breaks its short-lived bond with the Nassau shortly after this point, with the confirmed Nassaurites ascending up to meet this ramp from the Belt, while the remainder of South Conduit splits with the right fork ending up a short-lived service road of the Nassau. |
I can't help thinking this scene looks tropical. Maybe the ramp thinks it's Nassau as in the Bahamas? The Lefferts exit probably belongs officially to the Nassau and not the Belt, but then again, we don't even know for sure whether the Nassau officially belongs to itself, let alone what exits it can claim as its own. |
What logic exactly is it that decides when a directional's arrows point down as opposed to up? Various cargo facilities fill the great beyond within the confines of JFK Airport. All shot 10/99. |
