| Taken May 1998, at Queens Blvd and 65th Place in Woodside, Queens. The tunnel is actually the entrance ramp for the southwest bound Brooklyn Queens Expressway, AKA I-278. The Empire State Building can be glimpsed in the distance. The BQE ramp is a holdover from the 30's, when this part of the BQE was related to the Midtown Tunnel access. |
