| The corner of North Conduit and Cross Bay, looking south, where at least one motorist scrambles to escape the required right turn onto 153rd Avenue into Lindenwood. That driver probably wanted the westbound Belt, which is the next right afterward. I hate that lane. Even I've had to bail at the last second on numerous occasions, and I've driven by that spot a million times. The sign dangling in the wind on the traffic signal mast warns motorists about that turn, as do several other signs, but it still seems to come up on you unexpectedly. It's like a part of Cross Bay's evil curse. |
