Pilot Episode 10/6/1999 Three young alien survivores of the storied 1947 UFO crash live secretly among the residents of Roswell, N.M. First up: One of the aliens, Max (Jason Behr), saves the life of Liz (Shiri Appleby), jeopardizing his safety as well as that of his sister Isabelle (Katherine Heigl) and their friend, Micheal (Brendon Fehr). The incident also heightens the local sheriff's suspicions regarding Max's involvement in the 1947 crash. Sheriff Valenti: William Sadler, Maria: Majandra Delfino, Alex: Colin Hanks, Kyle: Nick Wechsler.

The Morning After 10/13/1999 Liz and Max adjust to the bond developing between them; a suspicious substitute teacher has everyone on edge. Stars Shiri Appleby and Jason Behr.

Monsters 10/20/1999 Maria (Majandra Delfino) begins to sympathize with the aliens after a grueling interrogation by the sheriff (William Sadler); Max (Jason Behr) meets a mysterious true believer (guest star Steve Hytner).

Leaving Normal 10/27/1999 Liz (Shiri Appleby) begs Max (Jason Behr) to help revive her comatose grandmother (guest star Carroll Baker), but after Max is thrashed by Kyle's (Nick Wechsler) friends, he realizes that he must stay away.

Missing 11/3/99 Liz (Shiri Appleby) panics when she discovers that someone has taken her diary; in art class, Michael (Brendan Fehr) comes closer to solving the mystery of the fourth alien. With Jason Behr.

285 South 11/10/99 A haunting vision causes Michael (Brendan Fehr) to hit the highway in Maria's (Majandra Delfino) stolen car; a class assignment brings together unlikely pairs. With William Sadler.

River Dog 11/17/99 Liz and Max (Shiri Appleby, Jason Behr) journey to an American Indian reservation where they glean information from an elderly tribesman (guest star Ned Romero) about the alien who vanished in 1959.

Blood Brother 11/24/99 Max (Jason Behr) is injured in a car accident, and Liz (Shiri Appleby) pressures Alex (Colin Hanks) to help protect him from medical procedures that could expose his identity.

Heat Wave 12/01/99 Michael and Maria's (Brendan Fehr, Majandra Delfino) relationship heats up during a December heat wave; Isabel and Alex (Katherine Heigl, Colin Hanks) share a dance; Max and Liz (Jason Behr, Shiri Appleby) share their first kiss(Finally!!). Guest star: music group Save Ferris.

The Balance 12/15/99 While at the reservation, Michael (Brendan Fehr) ends up in an alarming hallucinatory state, and the others must band together to save his life. With guest star Ned Romero.

The Toy House 1/19/00 When Max (Jason Behr) rescues his mother (guest star Mary Ellen Trainor) from a kitchen fire, she faces her suspicions about his extraordinary abilities; Liz (Shiri Appleby) reaches out to Kyle (Nick Wechsler) in friendship.

Into the Woods 1/26/00 A UFO sighting on the edge of town ignites long-buried fears, while Max, Liz (Jason Behr, Shiri Appleby) and the others spend a weekend together in the woods.

The Convention 2/2/00 Max (Jason Behr) plays host to Jonathan Frakes (guest starring as himself) at the annual UFO convention while trying to avoid the meddlesome couple (guest stars Kevin Weisman and Wendle Josepher) who witnessed Max's life-saving powers.

Tess, Lies and Videotape 4/17/00 Max (Jason Behr) is drawn irresistibly to Tess (Emilie De Ravin); Sheriff Valenti (William Sadler) discloses the shocking truth about Topolsky's fate; a hidden surveillance camera reveals a fifth alien.

Four-Square 4/24/00 An angry Max (Jason Behr) confronts Tess (guest star Emilie De Ravin) in the desert; Isabel and Michael (Katherine Heigl, Brendan Fehr) are disconcerted by the dreams they are suddenly having about each other.

Max to the Max 5/1/00 Tess's book suggests that she and Max are predetermined mates, as are Michael and Isabel, who thinks she might be pregnant---with Michael's baby. Meanwhile, Nasedo disguises himself as Max and kidnaps Liz as part of a plan to trap FBI agent Pierce (David Conrad). Tess: Emilie De Ravin.
