Bruised knees and baggage. Fevered brows and first farewells. Families aren't supposed to be convenient.

Over the course of spring break, a single mother and her college-aged son grapple with their changing relationship. Locked in history and locked in battle. During the course of an awkward, funny, and tender visit at home, a single mom and her Generation X son learn from their past selves and their future partners, how to walk through a doorway without slamming it shut forever.
