I was at Jim's last show tonight at it was AMAZING!!! He was crying at the end and it was so sad. I was crying like through the whole second act and once he started crying, forget it. There was so much enthusiam in the crowd. I felt like I was at a concert instead of a broadway play. I LOVED IT! I got a picture with Jim and I got him to sign my playbill and my Rent book. He's so sweet. Hopefully he'll come back to the NY area soon. I'm going to miss him sooo much. I'm still on a high from the show. I loved it, i can't say that enough. --Dawn

From the moment he walked out I knew it was going to be a great night. The audience went wild and Jim just kinda laughed..so cute. Some people around me didn't know it was his last and kept talking about how invloved the audience gets. Everyone was amazing. I love Stu and Alan. Did anyone notice how Lorraine stopped singing at certain parts of another day? Anyway she had an excellent OT. It was a really emotional performance. All of Jim's numbers were great...another day, halloween. I loved tango..even Danielle was laughing. La Vie Boheme was hysterical Jim held vie extra long. I was in row be right in front of him during seasons and he smiled at me. That's when I started to get really sad. It's going to be so bizarre without him there. When they sang the whole "I can believe this family must die...I can't believe this is goodbye," part I was a mess. I was really glad Jai was Angel just in case I don't get to see him during the week. I saw a bunch of old cast members...Marcy, Shayna, Maya, Rufus, Jacques. Norbert said hi and apologized for not being able to stick around but he had some party to go too. Jim was so gracious after the show. Everyone cheered and he promised no one would get left out. I got my picture and he signed my playbill so that was cool. Anyway now i'm just rambling far too much so I'll end it here. Later Everyone ~Laura

WHAT A SHOW AND EVENT!!
I'll let someone else do the reviews because it was very emotional but let me just say it was so ON - not just JIM but the WHOLE cast
BEST RENT I've seen in a WHILE
I was fine up until HALLOWEEN and then I lost it
and when the finale started Jim started chokin up and it was so sad
then he was and so MANY people in the audience were tearing up and crying
But it was such a great performance and a great sendoff to JIM
there were a lot of cast members (new and old which was so sweet) there
and Jim came out ans stayed till EVERYONE got to talk to him - so sweet
he brought his family too which was so nice
well, someone else can give more detail but it was a GREAT SHOW and JIM will be MISSED
and SAMMI and ARI - the SCRAPBOOK was awesome@
and STEPH and LAURA - we'll survive :) somehow :)

Hey, so I was at Jim's last last night. Jim's not my favorite Mark, but he's one of my favorites. He's definitely the most improved Mark I think. I saw Marcy, Norbert, and Jacques...I think Rufus was there too. I haven't seen the show in a long time, so I had a few new people to see. I liked Loraine as Mimi a lot and I absolutely loved Alan as Collins and Stu as Benny. I was very happy that Jai was on as Angel. He's such a great Angel. Manley...he's the same. I still don't like him, but anyway, on to other things. I love Cristina and Danielle. They have a great TMOLM. So...we lost lotto, but ended up buying orch. row j seats that really weren't that bad. Loraine really puts a lot of energy into Out Tonight..it was great. Jim had a great, emotional performance. :) It was sad. I couldn't believe that I was lucky enough to see his very first performance as Mark (when he was an understudy) back in Nov. of 97, and now I was seeing his last performance. He's really come a long way. It was so cute...in the end, when the cast runs back out for the end, everyone stayed back and let jim run out alone. :) He didn't realize it at first. They were all clapping for him, and he was crying really hard. People threw balloons down from the mezzanine. It was so sad. It'll be strange without him, just because he's been here for so long. We got outside and there was a big crowd waiting. I didn't really feel like waiting around, so my husband went to get the car. While I was standing around, Norbert snuck out from the door I was standing by and took off. :) Marcy got stuck with the fans. I saw Shayna run out, I guess she came by after JCS was over. I don't know when I'll see the show again next...I want to see Trey as Mark, so I'll probably come sometime during the summer...most likely when Manley's on vacation. I'd like to see Chad or PMS as Roger. Well, that's it. Thanks for reading. :) >~*~Denise

hey you guys. all i have to say is that was one of my best nights EVER. the show was incredible. jim was soooooooooooooooooooo great as always. he held his little la vie......... boheme. it was soooooo cute. then his mucho masturbation...that was hysterical. when the cast came out on stage to start, the applause lasted for about 5 min. he was like laughing. the whole cast was sooooo great. we met jim after the matinee for a little while and i got a pic with him then. and i got a pic with manley then too. then at the night i met jim again and gave him that t-shirt thing that we got everyone to sign. even his mother who was sitting next to us wrote " call your mother ". hehe. his family was sooooooo sweet. i was sitting with lindsay next to them. we were surrounded. his aunt who was right in front of us was on the phone with lis. she was on a plane from chicago to get to his cast party. it was soooooooo sweet. i also met marcy and got a pic with her. she said she loved my jacket and asked me where i got it. i was about to faint. and i met and got a pic with shayna steele who i just saw as mary in JCS (she understudied for maya). and last but not least, i got jai. he like hated us and wanted to get out the door, but he was cute. well, sorry for bragging on and on and on, but i need to do it to someone who actually knows what im talkin about. this night was soooooo incredible, i can't wait till he comes back... luv yas -juli
