Grigori are the lowest class of angel and the most numerous. They are called the Watchers. They have no bodies of their own and are invisible. The grigori serve as fuel for the astral powers of higher angles, and each time an angel uses their power, a grigori dies. Most other angels are not even aware of this. Of all the higher ranking angels, only Rosiel and Jibril ever showed any pity for them.

Katan and Moonlily are former grigori.
