Lot's of auctions this past month with one or two rare and seldom seen saltwater pieces coming on the auction block.

The first one probably being the most significant saltwater piece to come up for auction in a long time. Made by Emmerson & Ruhren, New Jersey company it came new in a picture box and sold $367.99. I've never seen this lure or box before, but after talking with a few fellow saltwater collectors I've found out that another two plugs have been seen in the field before. One was marked and the other wasn't. The box is a first and also the first picture type box I've come across. I think if this piece was seen by the other saltwater players it would have gone for three times the price it sold for. Either way I'm the happy and proud new owner.

Second up is a Floyd Roman Little Nike. Copper in color and in it's original box the lure sold for $46.67. A nice little New England Saltwater piece and at a very affordable price even with the agelines which only add character.

Third up is another Floyd Roman lure called a Dart-N-Dart. New in it's original box, this rarer Floyd Roman lure sold for $192.49. A good price for a nice piece.

Fourth up is two seldom seen Devonshire lures. Like a Atom swimmer these two looked identical and sold for $58.99 They're pictured below.

Next up is a beautiful early Masterlure in Blueflash color. What a stunning piece! This large snook type swimmer sold for $390.00. Masterlures in excellent condition are still bringing high prices on ebay.

Next is another rare New England made lure. Made by Fishmaster this saltwater popper was new in the box and sold for $181.48. I've only seen a few of these in all my years of collecting and most were fished heavily. What a nice piece for the collector who won it.

This Stan Gibbs popper must have broke a record for a Gibbs lure. A smaller 1 1/4 oz. version, it came in an intro-box and was in new condition. It sold for a whopping $169.60. Wow, that's a lot for an Stan Gibbs lure. Congratulations to the bidder who won it.

Another almost identical small popper that wasn't in an intro box sold for $105.98. It's pictured below.

Last in a Blue Streak atom type swimmer in a Blueflash like color. This one sold for only $69.99.

That's it for now!
