New York offers a wide range of angling opportunities. Saltwater, lakes, rivers, streams and ponds all offer species including: Striped Bass, Black Bass, Smallmouth, Walleye, Lake/Rainbow/Brown/ and Brook species of Trout. Landlocked, King and Atlantic Salmon, Pike, Muskie and Pickerel. Seasons vary greatly statewide so check with the DEC.
