Champ is New York's (and Vermont's) own version of the Loch Ness Monster.
The first person ever to see Champ was Samuel de Champlain. Champ is reported to
reside in Lake Champlain in upstate New York. Located on the NY/VT border and
extending into Canada. Lake Champlain is over 100 miles long, up to 12
miles wide and has depth's well over 350 feet. Lake Champlain also has canals
which lead into the St. Lawrence Seaway to it's north and the Hudson River to
it's south.
I have little or no knowledge of Champ so I will use
this page as a gateway to those who do. Below you will find links to the various
sites already out there with a wealth of knowledge on this subject.
