Nick walked into Kylie's room,he had heard the news from the Dr.Smith.He was extremly happy for Kylie.He noticed that the rooms blinds where open and light shined into the room making it comfortable and warm and not cold and uncomfortable like it used to be.
"Hey Nick,whats up ?,how are you ?",asked Kylie cheerfully.
"Nothing and I'm good,you ?",asked Nick.
"Great",said Kylie grinning.
"Thats good to hear",said Nick.
"Nick,thanks for being nice and sweet",said Kylie.
"Your welcome",said Nick.
"But why are you so nice and sweet to me ?",asked Kylie softly.
Nick pulled up a chair and sat down and let out a small sigh.Kylie could tell he was going to tell about his deseased girlfriend Mary.
"My girlfriend,uh I mean ex-girlfriend died of cancer,and I feel like I should help people who have that desease",said Nick softly.
Nick couldn't look at Kylie,tears where falling from his eyes,just by telling her that all his insides hurt.
"You miss her alot don't you ?",asked Kylie.
Nick nodded numbly.Kylie moved alittle in her bed to caress his cheek.Kylie touched his warm cheek.Nick lifted up his hand and held onto her hand,her touch felt nice to his warm skin.Kylie felt desperate she didn't know what to feel or do,she could feel his tears landing onto her arm,he just held onto her hand to feel some sort of comfort but nothing worked.He let go of her hand.
"Sorry",mumbled Nick.
"It's okay",said Kylie.
"Well since you just told me something from your past,I'll tell you something of mine",said Kylie.
Nick looked up at her,he wiped away the stray tears.
"If you feel pressured in anyway you don't have to",said Nick.
"No I don't feel pressured,but it's a long story",sighed Kylie.
"My family died in a plane crash a couple of years ago,all I had left where my friends and my boyfriend.Then I found out that I had Cancer and all my friends and boyfriend abonded me,leaving me alone,I was hospitialized when the family doctor found out what I had.I don't have anyone in this world,I don't have any friends nor family the only one I ever loved was my ex-boyfriend,he loved me also,but I guess when I told him what I had he got scared and decided to just break off a six year relationship",said Kylie in tears.
"He didn't love you",said Nick coldly.
"If he actually loved you,he would he here with you right now,giving you hope and faithfulness",said Nick.
"He was scared",shouted Kylie.
She didn't want to admit that Nick was 100 % right,she didn't want him to feel happy that he was right.
"I'm sure he was scared,I was scared also when my Mary was told she had cancer,I freaked out,but I didn't leave her side till the day she left this world",said Nick.
Kylie groaned defeated he was right she admitted it.
"You're right he didn't love me,no one loves me,no one will ever love me cos I have a death threathning desease I could die any moment by now",sighed Kylie.
"For Gods sake,I don't even have a freaking friend,my life is pathetic because of this",muttered Kylie.
"You have me",said Nick truthfully.
"You're just giving me pity thats all you feel,thats all everyone feels when they see me in a hospital bed at only nineteen years old",said Kylie bitterly.
"Listen up Kylie,I don't know why the fuck you think that I'm just friend just to show you nothing but pity,I told you once and I am going to say it again I'm not like most people,I care about my friends and I count you as one of them !",yelled Nick.
He was pissed off at her so badly why couldn't she get that straight threw mind that he wasn't like most people,he cared for his family and friends.
"Don't fucking yell at me,get the fuck out of my room and don't ever come back !",yelled Kylie.
"Fine forget that I even tried to be your friend,you know what you where right all I have for you is pity and nothing more I hope you rot yourself to death !",shouted Nick he slammed the door.
Kylie didn't know why but that hurt and it was killing her inside,she closed her eyes and his hurtful words echoed through out her mind.Tears poured down her cheeks.
