¡Somos América!

Cobardes sin rostro en aviones de la muerte atravezaron mi corazón y el de cada americano.

Derribaron edificios y tomaron vidas, pero no nos destruyeron.

¡Somos América!

Nosotros trabajamos, nosotros luchamos, nosotros compartimos, nosotros nos unimos en momentos de crisis.

Nosotros protegemos a los nuestros, nosotros defendemos nuestro país, nosotros conocemos la libertad.

¡Somos América!

Nos abrazamos a nuestra herencia, apoyamos lo que es correcto y nos esforzamos por la paz.

Sabemos que vivimos en el país más grande en la tierra.

¡Somos América!

Nosotros lloramos las vidas perdidas, nosotros confortamos a los sobrevivientes.

Nosotros recogemos los pedazos, nosotros continuamos.

¡Somos América!

Los ataques sin sentido del terrorismo no nos destruirán, sólo nos haran más fuertes.

Cuando los asesinos esten detrás de las rejas, nosotros estaremos vivos y fuertes.

¡POR QUE NOSOTROS SOMOS AMÉRICA!

Faceless cowards in planes of death peirced my heart and the heart of every American.

They toppled buildings and took lives, but they did not destroy us.

We Are America!

We work, we struggle, we share, we come together in times of crisis.

We protect our own, we defend our country, we know freedom.

We embrace our heritage, stand for what is right and strive for peace.

We know we live in the greatest country on Earth.

We mourn the lost lives, we comfort the survivors.

We pick up the pieces, we carry on.

Senseless attacks of terrorism will not destroy us, only make us stronger.

When the murderers are behind bars we will still be alive and strong!

BECAUSE WE ARE AMERICA!
