Prayer is the vehicle we use to talk to and hear from God. By closing your physical eyes and thinking (meditating) about God, you block out all that is around you and begin to open your line of communication with Him through Jesus Christ. Just begin to talk to Him, as if you were talking to an acquaintance that you want to get to know better.
· Tell Him about you and the things that are going wrong in your life
· Tell Him that you are truly sorry for the things that you have done in your life (repent) that have not been true, honest, pure, right, loving, considerate, compassionate, respectful, and honorable to Him, to others, and to yourself.
· Tell Him that you accept His love, His Son, His Word, and His Commands
· Tell Him you commit your life to Him, by continually Praying, Studying, and applying what has been learned to your life that others may see Him through You
