In today's business world there is a lot of profit to be made by companies who decide to use the hip-hop culture and artist in their advertisements.  In today's society companies find that using artists help them sell their products at outstanding rates.

Many businesses find that the use of hip-hop artist helps them sell theiough they have no involvement in the hip-hop community.

Many businesses now a day use artists for personal profit.  Such businesses who have used this method of advertising are AT&T who used Destiny's Child in a recent commercial, also mountain dew, who used Busta Rhymes to promote their soda.  Many other businesses are destined to use this form of promotion.

Many clothing designers also use hip-hop to promote their clothing such designers are Tommy Hilfiger and the guess clothing company who use artist such as Mary J. Blige as well as "Chili" from the group TLC.  Iceberg has used Angie Martinez to promote their clothes.  Make-up companies have used artists in their promotion for example M.A.C has used "Lil Kim" and Mary J.
