In most cases, being who’s blood is tainted with this disease (humanly known as Lancrathopy), speed, agility, and strength especially is increased greatly. They become quite attracted to the taste of fresh blood and the victory of a kill, to triumph over another life. You wouldn’t know till you’ve tasted it. It brings a sort of feeling of power and hunger, rises your spirits and abilities.
But in the first place, to become a werewolf, there are couple ways, as opposed to one way of becoming a vampire. You can be bitten or attacked my a werewolf, draws blud and transfer some of its own, and then your blood is tainted with werewolf blood. You can also be born with tainted blood from one or both of your parents. Either way, one the blood is tainted, it is tainted eternally, immortal, to live forever.
Shape-shifter werewolves or any type of were can shape-shift at any given time, night just at full moons or at night, unlike how movies portray them. Most werewolves shape-shift to be able to go out into the wood or fields, just too be able to get away from the human world. Or, to get a fresh kill, or as they have been a werewolf longer to create more werewolves. A werewolf in a wolfish-shape are generally seen as just a common wolf. Attacking a wolf that is really a werewolf is more life-threatening than attacking a real wolf. Which is why a werewolf in wolf form is really not a very bad position.
However, most werewolves don’t always remain in their wolf form. They stay in their original humanoid form, with some little variations that are usually not identified by humans. This is such as thick eyebrows that almost come to a V at the bridge of the nose. Harrier, on arms, legs, etc. Often a bit more muscular, as werewolves usually train themselves to gain more strength, speed, agility and even personality. Werewolves quite often hunch over a bit and have larger hands and feet for gripping and balance.
Even with the accumulated power that a werewolf has, being one can also be a curse. Fear of werewolves is great in the human race, which probably makes things worst. If a human finds out one is a were, it puts them and others in danger, because everyone knows you can’t tell just one person. And fear is brought on by what you do not understand. And having everyone against you, as much as you know humans are, so much as to call, inferior—at least most—is not a good feeling or a proud being. Extremes will be taken, and though a werewolf is immortal, any extreme damage to the brain, heart or vital organ can kill one. Keeping being a werewolf a secret can be easy, considering most humans wouldn’t believe one was a were in any case. But humans who are convinced, can be a bit threatening… well, “threatening” isn’t exactly the word for it. Well, hopefully you catch my drift. But fortunately, most humans wouldn’t believe one was a were anyhow.
Werewolves have one arch-enemy however that are not so easily defeated. And that is the vampire. Werewolves have been battling vampires for… ever. Ever since their were vampires (as I believe werewolves may have come beforehand]. Neither are actually scared of the other, which heats things up a great deal. The battle between them may never cease, as both have increased standards. The vampires is technically faster than a werewolf’s. But a werewolf is usually much stronger than a vampire, and agility varies with the werewolf or vampire, and training can help any standard.
