Finding meaning through love and/or family
Last but not least on this search for meaning webpage is.... love and taking care of family. I felt that these two go together because whenever I think of two people in love, I always wonder if in ten years, they'll be married. Sounds crazy, but that's just me. Now the real reason why I put these two here is because for many people, finding the perfect person for them is their purpose in life. They spend years and years of heartbreaks and bad dates, just waiting for prince charming to take them away. Somehow knowing the perfect person is out there gives them motivation to keep on searching. I know that it's not at all like the fairy tales we grow up reading, but it is still something to hope for. Usually after marriage, kids are the next thing to follow. I think that it is just in most people's blood to want to have kids. The thought of caring for someone, and having them look up to you gives you that feeling of greatness. It helps to make your somewhat crazy life come down to earth.
