We've just passed 109th, heading for the Linden boulevard exit and overpass. New faux stoneface retaining walls have sprung up on the right side. Molds for them are now strewn about behind the northbound lanes as well. I think their facing is plastic, but your average tourist zipping by at 40 plus MPH will never know, unless he reads this. So much for the brawny brick facing the older walls sported. |
