| Peeking out over a retaining wall, next to Park Drive East, in the upper 70's (Avenue wise). Just ahead, to the south, in the top view, are the exits for Union Tpke West and the Jackie Robinson Pkwy, followed by the merger with the original VW coming in from the Grand Central Pkwy. A good view as well, of the back of a huge, multi-trussed overhead directional signpost. |
| looking north, the walkbridge leading into Flushing Meadow Park at roughly 73rd Avenue, can be glimpsed. The fencing on the left indicates the northern end of the MTA's Jamaica transit yards. Every time I've come to shoot this highway, it's jammed southbound and relatively deserted northbound. Shot in Spring 1998. |
