Directions
Gibbs Falls is located in Crawford Notch State Park, less than half a mile from US route 302. The State Park is located between North Conway and Bretton Woods, with 302 running right through it. Park your car at the Crawford House, which is at the north end of the park, across from Saco Lake. The trail begins across the highway.
Description
The trail leads up a moderate slope right from the start and all the way to the falls. It is only four-tenths of a mile from the road, but it takes about 15 minutes to reach it because of the incline. Gibbs Falls is a narrow strip of water that plunges into a picture-perfect little pool. The overall setting is very pleasant. It is definitely worth the short but steep walk required to reach it.
