The Downtown in Middletown 11-23-01!!!

King of the pit.... Top of the pile!!!

Drinks spilling... bodies flying. We've had our share of great shows at The Downtown. But the 3rd set of last Friday's post-Thanksgiving show had to be the best.... period!

At first we were wondering whether anyone would dance at all. The bar was packed and people were celebrating, but for the first two sets they were just afraid to get within 20 feet of the stage.

But then, after some liquid courage we had plenty of people fighting for the mic.
1/2 rockshow, 1/2 rugby match.

If you didn't beat your way to the top of the pile...

...they ended up scraping you off the floor.

Special thanx goes out to our bro's Steve, Andrew from Aisle*9, for having the best pre-WG show we've never attended. Evan from the GAP Club for getting some cool crowd shots on video. Mark, Paul and RichD from PTM who spot checked the Violent Femms for us.... and last but not least Brother Bob... part roadie, part band photographer, who without his efforts these wonderful pics would not exist. Huge thanks to Natalie... who flew all the way from Texas and only got to see one show!!! Get us a gig in the Lone Star State will ya? Most of all thanks to all of the friends that consistently come out to make The Downtown a great time!!!

Shout Outs to.... Tammy, The Big EB, Erin,JennieLynn, Hillary, Mike, Mindy, Brother Bob,Trish, Dana(from "Down Under") who now holds a new spontaneous kissing record....
