Title: Wish Upon a Star
Willow sat at her window, her chin cupped in her hand. She gave a heavy sigh, brushing wisps of red hair from her shinning green eyes. She blinked, a small smile tugging at her lips as she noted a flash of light in the star studded sky. 'A falling star!' Willow recognized. 'Why not?' "Star-light, star-bright / First star I see tonight; / I wish I may, I wish I might, / Have the wish I wish tonight," Willow murmured towards the sky. "I wish... I wish I had an Angel of my own," she said, giving voice to the desire that sparked within her whenever she saw Buffy and the vampire. There was something about the entire soul-mate aura that wound about them, the love that was deep enough between them to shake Angel to his very being... "Although I'd rather not find a man capable of loosing his soul. And I think I'd prefer someone a touch less broody. But otherwise, yeah, a Angel-type guy who wants and loves me as much as her Angel wants Buffy," Willow nodded certainly. The stars winked at her from the heavens as Willow let her curtains fall.
Buffy's brilliant smile faltered as Angel greeted her with the slightest of nods. He gracefully darted around her, moving straight towards Willow. The red head looked up at him, her eyes round with shocked confusion. "Uh... Angel?" Willow ventured. "Buffy's over there," she said, gesturing towards the blonde whose face had been struck into a hurt mask. "I know," Angel murmured. "I'm still fully functional, Willow. I saw her." "Uh huh," Willow drew out cautiously. Was it just her, or was there a definite hint of laughter in his eyes. He looked... mischievous, happy. "Are you possessed or something, Angel?" He threw back his head and laughed as all of the library's occupants stared at him in wordless shock. "You are delightful, Willow. No, I'm not possessed." Willow barely had time to eep before Angel was swooping down, his lips meeting hers. "Willow!" Xander yelped. "Angel!" Buffy shrieked. "What?" Angel asked from the doorway in confusion. "Angel?" Xander gasped. "Angel?" Buffy echoed. "Willow?" Angel cried out, seeing the red head wrapped in someone's arms. "Yes?" Angel number two inquired as he withdrew his lips from Willow's. He carefully cradled her tiny body in his arms. He wasn't sure if she'd fainted from shock, or lack of air. Looking at the rest of the room, he decided that it was probably best that she wasn't there at that moment. "Someone called me?" "What is the meaning of--" Giles began, stepping out of his office. He looked at the room's occupants and his eyes went wide. "Good God," he stuttered. And then the room truly erupted into chaos. ~end~ I'd write more, but I really don't think that I can handle it! But had there been more, witness Buffy's reaction: "Well, you'll just have to give him back!" :)
