Demons are taking over, and Spawn is the only person that can stop them
Graphics
Spawn himself looks very good, some of the bad guys look good too. The enviroment could've been done better though (cars for example). The game runs smoothly (no slow down). The game is really dark, which sets the mood, but it can be difficult to see in darker televisions.
Sound
Spawns voice is well done, and the music is good too. The weapons vary on how well they sound.
GamePlay
You follow the plotline of the comic books, and you can collect them while playing. You can upgrade you life, necroplasim (satanic power/ magic power), and weapons. This game is pretty much a slice and dice/ shoot'em up game, which can make some levels a bit repetitive. The occasional puzzle is included, but very rarely is it introduced. There are some problems with the camera but that doesn't happen too often.
Fun Factor
Like I said before, its a slice and dice game. Just kill everything on the screen except yourself and you'll do fine. The game can pose some difficulty at times, but it stands to be a simple game with plenty of levels. Not a disappointment, but more like a surprise.
Overall
Spawn Armageddon get a 7.9 out of 10. Its fun, but can get repetitive sometimes. Also, the camera problem doesn't help the score. It runs smoothly, and is difinately worth a try. I was expecting a whole lot less from this game but I was pleasantly surprised. Now out on PS2, GameCube, and X-Box.
