Snake's Remains

By: Andrew

1. Light the torches at the entrance to open the door.

2. Go left first. Kill everything and collect the key that appears out of nowhere.

3. Return to the main room and head up. In the room ahead, the inert torches shoot fireballs. Head into the room on the lower right.

4. Kill the stuff and move the out-of-place block. A chest appears that contains the Compass. Continue to the next room.

5. The blocks conveniently arranged into an arrow point the way to a secret room containing a room full of Rupees. Anyway, murder all the enemies for the eastern and southern doors to open, but ignore those for now. Use the key on the locked door above and press on.

6. Use your sword and knock the Bumper Beetles into the abysmal pits. Go through the opened door.

7. Kill everything. A chest replaces the discolored spot and inside is the Power Bracelet. Equip it and throw the pots out of the way to get to the Dungeon Map in the chest.

8. Back at the arrow room, open the door on the right by killing the enemies.

9. Go through it and kill the things. Then move the right-most block to unlock the door. Be careful in the next room.

10. Get the small key then head through the southeastern exit.

11. With the Power Bracelet equipped, push the columns. Take the stairs up to the hillside you saw earlier.

12. Take the Gasha Seed and continue down the stairs. In the room with many cracked blocks, you must hurry and work your way to the chest in a limited amount of time, or it'll disappear and you'll have to try again. If you run out of bombs, the Deku Shrub at the left sells 10 of them for 30 Rupees. The chest contains a needed Small Key. Once you have it, backtrack to the room with the giant spike things and go right.

13. Bomb the row of weak blocks and head down the stairs. Hop on the Thwomp’s head. Then run quickly across the falling Thwimps (What crap names). Climb the ladder up at the end.

14. Push the columns around. Don't stand on the cracked floors too long, or you'll fall. Just keep pushing the columns to avoid falling into oblivion. Arrive in a huge room and fight Facade (Level 6 boss in Link’s Awakening)

15. Head to your right and continue moving in that direction. Keep going until you reach the room with Traps and Gels. Head down and use the moving platforms to put you over to the right to get the Boss Key at the top. Jump off the edge and return to the moving platforms. This time, go to the left exit.

16. Going on the rotating platform takes you, again, to the previous area, but head down again and make your way back to the rotating platform. It should take you in the south direction this time.

17. You can use a Mystery Seed to get a hint about the upcoming boss' weakness, but if you're reading this, there's no need. Hop across the moving platforms and lift the pot out the way. Enter the boss' lair.

18. To defeat the Dodango, equip Link with both the Power Bracelet and Bomb. When the Dodongo opens its mouth, toss him a bomb. As he blows up into a balloon, use the Power Bracelet to toss his sorry ass into the spikes. Repeat this method several times over.

19. Collect the Heart Container and head into the room below to obtain the Gift of time. You get transported outside and the Maku Tree once again comments his miniscule strength returning. No one cares.
