Holley is our second Malamute from Twila Baker of Quinault Kennels in Wa. State. She is also an extremely hard worker, sweet girl, and show dog. She has a 3pt. Major and 8 other points, leaving her with only one more Major to finish. She also earned the prestigious Best Puppy in Show at the 2003 National Specialty under breeder judge, Nancy Russell. What a honor!!! She finally held enough coat and finished her Championship the first day back in the ring in March of '08!
Our intention was to breed her to Yuki after she turned 2 years of age, HOWEVER, they decided to do that earlier when she was only one year old. Holley continued to work on the team before & after the birth of her pups and earned her Working Team Dog title her first season on the team. Then, she completed her Working Weight Pull Dog title in her first four pulls after the pups were born!!! What a work ethic huh?
*FLASH* Holley earned her first two IWPA Working Dog 'legs' in her first 2 snow pulls ever, then proceeded to earn 3 Working Dog Excellent 'legs'!! One more to go! She then went on to take the Silver Medal on snow in the 61-80 lb. class in her first full year competing !!!!!!
