Members of the 101st

Welcome to the 101st Barracks. Here is a current list of all members of the 101st, and a very brief bio.

Nickname: Shroom

Preferred post: Officer, or anything with an smg

Backround: Shroom, as leader of the 101st, has a backround reaching as far back as that of man's itself. He began a destiny of nazi bashing back in the days of Castle Wolfenstein. He has a history in clans of all shapes and sizes back fro quake1 (MIA clan member). After his brief participation in MIA, Shroom bent his future to leading fierce, well coordinated team tactics and players. He has lead a total of nine clans into battle. His extensive backround in tactics and leadership has formed a solid base to lead the troops under his command in battle, to push them above and beyond their abilities.
Leadership is the art of influencing human nature in order to accomplish a mission in the manner desired by the leader. This definition given by the Canadian Armed Forces is the goal towards which all leaders must strive to act. Shroom, we have found, can do just that.

Nickname: Albow

Age: 17

Preferred Post: Sniper

Background: Quite extensive. At the age of 10 or 11 (who remembers? ahhh..the good old days) I damn near invented camping and sniping in quake 1. Best used with the nailgun or lightning gun. Have worked on Quake (was a member of the Purple Hearts, then joined the darkness clan), Quake 2 - had an extensive history of railgun camping, was a large cog in the UAC squad, quake 3 - preferred to work alone, was a brief member in SQD (Squad, a rather good clan for quake 3 deathmatch, and rocket arena), went under the name of Vehementi. Worked well as a sniper for a very brief time in Project IGI, had an extensive record of high kill to death ratio.

Now the webmaster and 2ic for the 101st Allied Assault squadron.

Prefer darkness and surprise, usually can be found working alone, supporting frontline grunts by recon work and highly unseen attacks. Also, leader of the 101st's soon to be highly feared "Sniper Division - 101". You will find out more on the Sniper Division page

Nickname: Captain Kickass

Age: 14

Preferred post: Sniper or infantry (general grunt)

Backround: Started late, began with Half life, moved into Team Fortress Classic. HAs a small history with a clan in Diablo. Avid strategy player and born leader. Usually creditted as General_Mcarthur or Capt_kickass, he is new to sniping, and the last edition to Sniper Division.

Nickname: Nemesis

Age: 21

Preferred Post: Sniper

Backround: Extensive. Nemesis is a shadow of a player. He has been in everything dating back to Wolfenstein. He has been in a number of clans, always perfecting the sniper position. His last great accomplishment was as a member of the Ranger battalion for DoD.
Having seen him, myself, in combat, it is safe to say he has an extensive knowledge of his shots. The gun is an extension of his arm, the bullet is just him reaching out to hit someone.

Nickname: Maverick

Age: 17

Preferred Post: Infantry grunt or heavy weapons

Backround: Little or no clans, but preferential to twitch, action, and tactical games, such as DoD, Counter Strike, and Deus Ex. Not much info on Maverick at this time. He has 2 sisters. We could have put him on the 101st out of pity alone :-)

Nickname: HaVoc

Age: 16

Preferred Position: Sniper & Field Medic

Background: My experience of being a member of a clan trails back nearly three years. At that time I was mostly a racing kind of guy, I was part of 5 clans during the time I played a game called MTM2, the most successful one was the RsX. As for as FPS clans however I was part of a clan with Shroom (our current Captain) called the ::SS:: (Sniper Squadron) for a game called NOLF. At that time we held some of the best snipers around. My personal record was 21-9 in a Sniper War game. In Allied Assault (As long as they have a decent sniping system) I plan to destroy that record!! One word - DUCK!

Nickname: Hells-Angels

Age: 14

Preferred Post: Heavy Weaponry

Bachround: Dating back to the ancient age of Castle Wolfenstein, H-A, as he is known, started at the age of ten into video games. He has an extensive history running from Wolfenstein to Quake1 to Quake2 to Halflife, through to Myth and Myth2. Has some history in Close Combat series.
H-A has the makings of all forms of player. He is strategic, thoughtful, and armed to the teeth. He is the squad's heavy weaponry support, and can always be expected to pull through with the fire power to get the grunts going.
